INTERPRETIVE MEDIA: TIOMAN ISLAND :)

Assalamualaikum and hye guys 👋🏻. So today I'm gonna share with you guys our expedition last week with our lecture and our beloved classmate. The place we went to the expedition was on Tioman Island for 3 days 2 nights. We boarded the ferry at Tanjung Gemuk Jetty, Rompin Pahang. It was so fun. 

TIOMAN ISLAND

Tioman is the most popular island in the eastern part of the peninsula. Tioman island is the biggest one (+/- 350 km2). The island is especially known for its wonderful diving and snorkeling possibilities. Tioman is a duty-free island, which means some items are much cheaper compared to prices at the mainland. The inland of Tioman is covered in thick jungle; the edges of the jungle are populated. Because Tioman is part of MArine Park, all visitor have to pay a marine park entrance fee of RM5 upon arrival. 

 INTERPRETIVE MEDIA

We choose Tioman Island as our expedition activity which is DTM 3053 Tourism Expedition. 

1. Personal Interpretation

When visitors interact with someone face to face such as during a guided walk or talk, or through a live performance or presentation from artists, actors and activity and workshop leaders. 

The first is Mr Kelvin give exposure on Tioman Island. He told us all about the coral reef. 

Then, this is Miss Syu, she is tour guide at this place. She told to us about wear a BA which is Buoyancy Aids or life jacket and she tell about snorkelling. She explain ways to use items for snorkelling that is mask and snorkel. 

2. Printed and Graphic Interpretation

Includes leaflets, publications, trail guides, indoor and outdoor panels and exhibitions.

3. Electronic Interpretation

Covers a wide range of computer and audio based material including websites, audio guides, podcasts, interactive screens and CD-ROMs. 

 Kolis as a Ajk Multimedia, he use this camera. 

Then, we also use the phone for take the picture and record all the video.
